Tracy Morgan and Tina Fey are joining forces to create a new single-camera comedy series for NBC. Contrary to what you might think, this isn’t a repeat of their collaboration in the 2005-06 development season on 30 Rock.
Morgan will soon appear in a series written by Sam Means and Robert Carlock, both known for their work on shows like “30 Rock” and “Girls5Eva”. In this production, Morgan portrays a fallen football player striving to restore his reputation. Fey, Carlock, Means, and Morgan are all serving as executive producers in this project.
This season, NBC has issued the first formal pilot order for our project, but there are several other shows they’re currently developing as well.
As a gamer, I’ve just landed another exciting role! The NBC pilot I’m working on is my second recent commitment. I’m also set to appear in “Crutch,” a spin-off of CBS’ popular show, “The Neighborhood.” If the NBC pilot gets picked up for a series, my deal allows me to juggle both roles! Streaming ahead on Paramount+ for “Crutch”!
