In its rewards system, Travala offers users up to 10% of their booking amount returned in the form of SOL, as well as BTC and AVA (its native token). Otera emphasized that Solana’s capacity for high scalability and affordability make it an excellent selection for improving travel-related experiences.
Beyond just offering booking assistance, Travala is also moving its AVA token onto the expanding Solana network, deepening its ties with this dynamic ecosystem. Notably, users will enjoy free transactions when transferring SOL, USDT, and USDC funds directly into their Travala wallets without any fees.
In a significant step forward, Travala has partnered with Skyscanner, enabling hotel reservations using more than a hundred digital currencies. This collaboration expands the platform’s reach, placing it alongside prominent travel booking platforms such as Expedia and Booking.com.
Previously existing on the Neo blockchain, Travala moved to the Binance Smart Chain in 2020 to take advantage of its benefits.
