Travis Scott Is Looking for a College Band To Perform With Him at Coachella

Invitation to HBCU and College Bands: Travis Scott wants to incorporate a marching band section into his Coachella performance scheduled for April.

Flame posted a request on X (previously Twitter), announcing that it’s for his new single titled “4×4”. He tweeted, “Any HBCU or university with a band, regardless of size. If you’re willing to tackle the horn arrangement from ‘4×4’, I’m ready to join you and perform it together at Coachella.

In appreciation, Scott mentioned his readiness to cover their tuition fees for one semester, “Perhaps I can find a solution to help with that semester since college can be tough. But playing music is enjoyable! 🙂 Here’s something.

Previously, Scott played “4×4” alongside a marching band at the College Football Playoff National Championship Halftime Show, and it appears he’s keen on keeping this collaboration ongoing. Notably, this track just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his fifth chart-topper and his first in nearly five years. Additionally, its music video showcases both the Prairie View A&M and Tennessee State University marching bands.

I’m looking for any HBCU or college that has a band, regardless of size. If they can handle the horn arrangement from “4×4,” I’d love to bring you with me to Coachella to perform it together! We could also brainstorm a plan to cover a semester since college can be tough. But let’s not forget that music is enjoyable! 🙂
