Trevor Noah Celebrates L.A. Spirit Following Wildfires in Grammy’s Monologue

Trevor Noah is back to emcee duties for the 2025 Grammys.

On Sunday evening, the previous host of The Daily Show appeared on stage at the Grammy Awards for the fifth time. Notably, he was also an executive producer for the event.

At the start of the broadcast, Noah pointed out that this year’s music event, although taking place in Los Angeles, was happening under “unexpected” or “atypical” conditions.

Yet, we are relieved to report that the fires have now been successfully contained, thanks to the brave work of firefighters.

Yet amidst the destruction, the resilient spirit of the city shines through. People who previously didn’t know each other are now lending a helping hand. Community centers are bursting with donations. Families are opening their homes to strangers, providing them with a place to rest,” Noah added on.
