Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper: Tillotama Shome opens up on her intimate scenes with Manav Kaul in series; ‘Felt so safe’

As a dedicated fan and follower of Indian cinema, I have been utterly captivated by the raw and authentic portrayal of intimacy in the series “Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper,” featuring Tillotama Shome and Manav Kaul. Despite the mixed reviews, this series has left a lasting impression on me, and I cannot help but be in awe of Tillotama’s openness and vulnerability in sharing her experience working on these intimate scenes.

Tribhuvan Mishra’s CA Topper production features Tillotama Shome and Manav Kaul in pivotal roles. While reception among viewers has been divided, the series has generated significant buzz for its nuanced portrayal of intimate relationships since its premiere.

In a recent interview, Tillotama spoke openly about filming intimate scenes with Manav for their TV show. She acknowledged the support of the crew and her co-star in ensuring her comfort throughout the process.

Tillotama Shome says Manav Kaul could understand from her face and body language if she’s unconformable

In an interview with News18, Tillotama Shome shared her thoughts on the intimate scenes she filmed with Manav Kaul for Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper. She explained that they hadn’t met before and while Manav may be a wonderful person, their primary goal on set was not to form friendships.

“During the production process, we needed to complete our tasks. Over the course of time, we formulated an equation for achieving this. Had we filmed certain scenes at the beginning instead, it would have greatly benefited from having directors who grasped this concept and were able to plan accordingly, ensuring a more polished outcome.”

She emphasized the need for intimacy coordinators, noting their absence during the filming of Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper. While the directors ensured they checked in on comfort levels and granted the power to refuse, this progressive approach is essential.

Shome expressed that he didn’t find it necessary to have an intimacy coordinator because he felt secure and could communicate openly with them. In fact, having a go-between would only delay the process. Moreover, he believed that Manav and he could pick up on each other’s discomfort through nonverbal cues.

Tillotama explained her perspective on the frequent focus on s*x scenes, commenting that in our current society, women are not generally viewed with an advanced or accepting perspective. Consequently, it’s surprising to assume that a woman or man would feel at ease. Intimacy is a deeply personal and private matter in our culture, and as a collective, we’re uncomfortable with public expressions of affection, desire, and love.

Meanwhile, Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper is currently streaming on Netflix.
