- Trickcal Re:Vive is set to arrive on mobile as it hits global launch
- Developer Bilibili Games made a big splash at the Taipei Games Show
- Trickcal Re:Vive is an absurdist, turn-based, card-collecting RPG
It looks like our world traveler, Anderson Han, deserves a self-congratulatory nod! One of his preferred Korean mobile game releases he hoped would go global has now confirmed its plans to do exactly that! Trickcal Re:Vive, initially listed among other top choices, has recently made waves at the Taipei Game Show with much more than just the news that Trickcal is about to launch worldwide.
Initially, let’s discuss Trickcal Re:Vive. It’s essentially a turn-based card game with RPG elements, offering a refreshing break from some of the more emotionally intense releases available. The game is set in an eccentric universe where you take on the role of a protagonist who finds themselves leading a global religion by recruiting over fifty unique apostles.
Although Trickcal Re:Vive’s grand adventures might seem quite intense, it’s eager to inject a good dose of humor into the mix. This could range from the typical anime charm of adorable characters engaging in cute antics, to witty references spanning everything from Cyberpunk 2077 and Grand Theft Auto, all the way to an assortment of both sophisticated and downright ridiculous side stories.

At this year’s Taipei Game Show, the extravagant spectacle of Trickcal Re:Vive was undeniably present. This game was exhibited not just in any ordinary setting, but inside a Ferrari Itasha, specially wrapped for the occasion and used to transport fortunate attendees around Taipei. Furthermore, the abundance of merchandise and the announcement of a forthcoming global launch suggest that Bilibili and Epid Games have high expectations for Trickcal Re:Vive when it becomes available worldwide.
When it comes to predicting when it will be available, I can only speculate since we’ve only confirmed that development is ongoing and there’s a planned global release. However, based on my estimation, it might be launched sometime in late 2025 or early 2026. There’s also the possibility of an earlier mid-2025 release, but nothing has been definitively set yet.
