Triptii Dimri admits her ‘sense of freedom has gone away' with growing popularity; says, 'I am not free anymore'

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but admire Triptii Dimri and her journey from relative obscurity to the limelight with Animal. Her talent is undeniable, and her charisma is palpable on screen. Yet, as a fellow admirer of freedom and personal space, I can empathize with her feelings of being hemmed in by fame.

Triptii Dimri gained significant spotlight following her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film “Animal,” alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Since then, her popularity has soared dramatically. In discussing her approach to handling her burgeoning fanbase, the actress admitted that while she appreciates fame, she also feels a loss of freedom and no longer experiences the same sense of liberty as before.

During a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Triptii Dimri shared insights into how her rising fame has affected her everyday life. Lightly poking fun, she mentioned that she used to buy vegetables prior to the release of the film “Animal”. She found it amusing that as an actor, this is the day they long for, a dream come true.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I cherish both the pursuit of recognition and the joy of personal liberty. I find immense pleasure in leisurely strolls and carefree moments spent with my cherished companions, undisturbed by external matters. However, recent events have brought about a shift. My freedom seems to have slipped away, leaving me yearning for those carefree days when I could breathe freely.

She mentioned that she’s still working through something because she cherishes her personal time deeply. She reminisced about the hours she used to spend strolling along Carter Road and dining out. Unfortunately, she can’t do those activities as freely as before. “I need to exercise caution,” she said. “However, overall, things appear quite promising,” she concluded.

Beyond what’s already been said, the actress from the “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” also emphasized that she seeks tranquility in the mountains to escape the chaos. She underscored its significance for her acting career, explaining how it enhances her performance as an actor.

Last year, the actress stated that she worked on four films, thus requiring some downtime for self-renewal. She emphasized that prolonged interaction with many individuals daily can leave one feeling both mentally and physically drained.

In terms of her professional life, the actress is now preparing for the premiere of the movie titled “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” which she’ll star alongside Rajkummar Rao. This comedy family drama is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024, and it will compete with Alia Bhatt’s film called “Jigra,” where Vedang Raina also plays a role.
