2023 film “Animal” brought Triptii Dimri into the spotlight for her performance. In this movie, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, she acted alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Lately, Triptii publicly expressed affection towards her co-star and admitted that without his assistance, she wouldn’t have pulled off the emotional confession scene effectively. She reminisced about facing difficulties and finding it hard to cry during that particular scene.
In a chat with Filmfare, Triptii Dimri spoke about her collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor and described him as an incredibly ‘confident’ performer. During their time filming the confession scene from Animal, the actress confessed to feeling anxious since she was performing in front of Ranbir.
On that particular day, Triptii admitted she found it difficult to recall her lines due to a demanding schedule that included filming another movie, causing her to lose sleep. She further explained that the day’s scene involved a lengthy monologue which she was finding challenging, and added that she typically manages to cry during scenes but failed to do so during this shoot. In simpler words, Triptii confessed she faced difficulties on that specific day.
Later on, Triptii Dimri disclosed that Ranbir Kapoor recognized her difficulties and offered assistance. She remembered him saying, “Triptii, shall we decide whose close-up shot comes first between mine and yours? You make the call. We’ll proceed with the scene in that manner.
In a recent statement, the actress from Qala shared that Ranbir Kapoor approaches situations with a director’s mindset. Furthermore, she mentioned that neither Ranbir nor filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga ever made her feel as though their time was being wasted. Triptii further revealed that more takes were required for certain scenes, but she persevered and ultimately succeeded, attributing this achievement to the support of both Ranbir and her director.
