‘True Detective’ Actress Anna Lambe Joins Brad Pitt in ‘Heart of the Beast’ (Exclusive)

Actress Anna Lambe will soon share screen time with Brad Pitt in Paramount Picture’s upcoming action-adventure film titled “The Heart of the Beast“.

In the upcoming project, Lambe, recognized for his roles in “North of North” and “True Detective: Night Country”, is set to collaborate with previously announced cast members Brad Pitt and J.K. Simmons under director David Ayer. Cameron Alexander penned the script and also functions as an executive producer.

The story revolves around an ex-Army Special Forces operative, portrayed by Pitt, who battles to stay alive alongside his military dog after a plane wreck leaves them in the harsh Alaskan wilderness. The specifics of Lambe’s character are being kept secret, and as of now, there is no scheduled release date.

As a gamer, I’m part of an epic production crew led by Damien Chazelle and Olivia Hamilton under their Wild Chickens Productions banner. We’ve got a first-look deal with Paramount, which means they get dibs on our projects! Also joining us are Temple Hill Entertainment, Ayer for Crave Films, and Pitt for Plan B. Richard Raymond is my trusted co-producer in this adventure.

Actress Lambe is set to star in the Canadian comedy series “North of North,” debuting on Netflix on April 10. Previously, she appeared as a supporting character alongside Jodie Foster in HBO’s “True Detective: Night Country” and opposite Alfred Molina in Amazon’s miniseries “Three Pines.

Lately, he was at the helm for the action film “A Working Man,” which premiered in theaters this Friday. Previously, he directed Brad Pitt in “Fury” back in 2014. Some of his other directorial works include “Suicide Squad,” “Bright,” and “The Beekeeper.

Brad Pitt is featured in director Joseph Kosinski’s upcoming racing film, titled “F1“, which hits theaters in June. The cast also includes Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, and Javier Bardem.
