Beginning today, you can stream “The Apprentice” (not to be confused with the upcoming biopic featuring Sebastian Stan as a young Donald Trump) on Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The initial season of this former NBC reality show, where Trump is known for saying “You’re fired” to aspiring business contenders until only one finalist remained as his apprentice, will debut today. Subsequent seasons, totaling seven, will become available each Monday through Apr. 27.
According to Variety, the present U.S. President, who not only hosted but also produced the show, fondly recalled his 14-season tenure on The Apprentice. “I’m excited to see it again – it brings back wonderful memories, lots of fun, but above all, it was a time for learning for everyone!” Trump stated in a message acknowledging the show’s new streaming availability, which has been made possible over 20 years since its initial television debut in 2004.
