Tubi to Stream Super Bowl LIX Live in First for Fox-Owned Platform

Super Bowl LIX will be everywhere on February 9.

In 2025, the Super Bowl will broadcast on Fox, and can also be watched on Fox Deportes, the NFL’s online platforms, and NBCUniversal’s Telemundo (as a result of a partnership between the companies made last year).

For the first time, this year’s Big Game will be available to watch for free on Tubi, a streaming service owned by Fox that features ads. Previously, when Fox last held the game in 2023, it could be streamed without a pay-TV subscription on the Fox Sports app and website, but Tubi was not part of that arrangement.

This year, things are different for me, a gamer. Earlier this month, Tubi announced they’ve hit 97 million monthly active users. The NFL has always aimed to make the Big Game easy to access, so it stays the annual TV spectacle in the U.S.

Super Bowl LIX is set to be played on Sunday, Feb. 9 in New Orleans at the Superdome.

Fox announced a “Super Bowl LIX dominance” on Wednesday. As part of this special event, programming from Fox Sports 1 will be broadcast on the main Fox network on Friday, February 7th, featuring shows such as “First Things First” and “The Herd with Colin Cowherd”.

This Sunday, during the Super Bowl, Fox is set to air their Super Bowl LIX pre-game show. At the same time, Tubi will stream its Red Carpet event for Super Bowl LIX. The Red Carpet event will be hosted by Olivia Culpo and it will focus on the “celebrity, fashion, and culture surrounding America’s largest sports spectacle.

More details on Fox’s programming ahead of the big game are expected in the coming weeks.
