Twisted Metal Season 2 Gets Release Date and Explosive New Images – Get Ready for the Chaos!

Nearly two long years have passed since the beloved show “Twisted Metal” (from Peacock) captivated fans with its mix of humor, action, and violence. But today brings good news because it’s been confirmed that Season 2 will debut on July 31, 2025! Anthony Mackie takes on the role of John Doe in this hit series inspired by the well-known video game franchise. The story unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world where his character must navigate a devastated United States to deliver a secret package.

Mackie is coming back for “Twisted Metal” Season 2, along with Stephanie Beatriz (Quiet), and professional wrestler Samoa Joe, who will reprise his role as the maniacal clown Sweet Tooth, voiced by Will Arnett. This season also brings on board several other newcomers, including Anthony Carrigan as Calypso, the inventor and master of ceremonies for the Twisted Metal demolition derby competition. After the events of the season one finale, John and Quiet step into the treacherous TWISTED METAL tournament, a malicious demolition derby overseen by an enigmatic figure called Calypso. In their quest to endure attacks from fresh threats as well as old acquaintances such as the homicidal clown Sweet Tooth, John’s circumstances become complex when he encounters his estranged sister, the vigilante known as Dollface.

According to Michael Jonathan Smith, the tension is intense as John Doe and Quiet are putting their lives on the line in a perilous demolition derby competition. Smith, the showrunner and co-creator, further described Season 2 of Twisted Metal as a speedy, hilarious, and exhilarating ride with indelible characters – but not everyone will make it through this rollercoaster journey. What a gripping start!
