As a fan, I can’t help but feel pumped up knowing that Tyler, the Creator isn’t done with the vibrant world of CHROMAKOPIA. He just dropped a surprising sneak peek at his upcoming music video for “Sticky,” and as an art enthusiast, I was blown away by the minute-long sepia-toned trailer he released.
The teaser features Tyler, the Creator within a football huddle, embodying his iconic St. Chroma character, which gained fame during this campaign. His character appears to be gearing up for a boxing match, socializing with Jasper and Taco. The video intermittently switches to him leading a marching band, concluding with a vibrant image of Tyler lounging on the bonnet of a car. The final scene was the only one in color, standing out against the usual sepia tone.
Currently, Tyler hasn’t disclosed the exact release date for his full video yet, but his latest teaser images have created quite a buzz among fans. Some speculate that the football field in the visuals might suggest a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl Halftime show. However, he has since shared on social media that he won’t be participating in it.
