As a seasoned collector with a penchant for unique timepieces, I find myself utterly captivated by this Ulysse Nardin Freak S Watches of Switzerland Centenary Edition. The anthracite-PVD-coated titanium case and gray titanium bezel lend an air of sophistication that’s hard to resist. But it’s the mesmerizing, spaceship-like dial-less design and UN-251 Manufacture movement that truly take my breath away.
In continuation of their 100th anniversary festivities, Watches of Switzerland has introduced another unique timepiece. On this occasion, they’ve teamed up with Ulysse Nardin to launch a special version of the Freak S model.
The Ulysse Nardin Freak S Watches Switzerland Centenary Edition sports a 45mm anthracite-PVD-coated titanium case, complete with a gray titanium bezel. The watch dial is replaced by an intriguing, spaceship-esque display, showcasing its unique design without a dial and the exceptional UN-251 Manufacture movement.
This distinctive reference showcases a crystalium foundation with a captivating shade of violet. The crystalium material is created through the crystallization of ruthenium, a process that takes a few days to complete, resulting in a one-of-a-kind texture for each piece.
As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “I’ve got my hands on an exclusive timepiece, the Ulysse Nardin Freak S Watches of Switzerland Centenary Edition. Its ballistic rubber strap, sporting a woven design and vibrant light purple stitches, adds a regal touch to its overall look. This 10-piece limited edition piece is priced at approximately $188,779 USD, and can only be found through Watches of Switzerland.
