Unlock Godlike Powers: Find All Ancient Memories in Avowed!

As a gamer delving into the world of Avowed, if you’re yet to uncover the elusive Ancient Memories, here’s a hint: they’re concealed in this very place. Unveiling these memories will bestow upon you powers that rival those of the gods themselves, so it’s well worth the chase. Plus, the insights into Sapadal’s past revealed through these scenes could prove crucial when it comes to making tough decisions about their fate.

In each region of the map in the game ‘Avowed’, there’s a single, ancient memory stored. Don’t overlook The Garden during your final exploration as there may be items you desire hidden within. Many of these Ancient Memories are situated near significant landmarks and other quests, allowing for convenient revisits if you happen to miss them upon an initial pass through the area.

Ancient Memory Location In Dawnshore

The Ancient Memory In Dawnshore Can Be Tracked With A Side Quest

Initially, the most accessible Old Memory can be discovered. After a short stay at Dawnshore, Sapadal will appear in your dreams and share a personal memory of theirs from that region with you. This revelation triggers the “The Call of the Past” quest on your log. I merely followed the trail of this quest, which led me to the spot where the Ancient Memory at Dawnshore is hidden.

As a keen explorer, the memory I’m referring to is situated right to the east of The Rise Party Camp – an effortless journey for you! Upon reaching the camp, take note of the impressive stone archway with a towering tree root growing into it, pointing straight towards your easterly direction. Pass through this arch and you’ll arrive at the location where the memory resides. Remember to ensure your health is fully restored and your weapons are ready because engaging in combat awaits you immediately after viewing the memory, as skeletons lie in wait!

As a gamer, I find myself gaining divine power with each Memory I collect, known as the Kishamal’s Recollection. This ability subtly increases my maximum health by 10%, an advantage that becomes more significant over time. Each Memory bestows upon me a new divine gift, enhancing various stats, making them all worthwhile to gather. These treasures also aid in making the right decision during Avowed’s crucial endgame phase.

Ancient Memory Location In Emerald Stair

Emerald Stair’s Memory Is At The Top Of The Ranger Outpost

The Memory Hidden in Emerald Stair is situated atop the Ranger Lookout, nestled deep within The Wildwoods. This lookout has its own quick-travel point, making it convenient to revisit if you missed the memory during a prior journey. If you haven’t discovered it yet, the Ranger Lookout lies to the west of Fior, across the river. Upon locating the Low Forest Clearing Beacon, you will spot a massive tree with some surrounding structures. You can ascend to the lookout by starting your climb on the northeastern side of the tree.

At the peak of the outpost lies a crucial memory. You can ascend via ladders for an upward journey. Continue navigating through the structure as the path is straightforward and linear. Upon reaching the top of the outpost, you’ll encounter the memory, and your map will be updated with a marker. Upon watching this memory, you’ll acquire the Recollection of Enhekala, boosting your maximum Essence by 10%.

Ancient Memory Location In Shatterscarp

Shatterscarp’s Memory Can Be Found By Taking The Bounty On Chieftan Grithan

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “Just like the Emerald Stair Memory, the Shatterscarp Ancient Memory is found on a towering edifice, but beware, it’s teeming with hostile Xaurips, so gear up for battle. If you need guidance to reach this place, grab Chieftan Grithan’s bounty in Thirdborn. Alternatively, head east from the city entrance into the Great Sand Sea.

Approach closer to the shore until you spot a prominent rock column adorned with Xaurip artwork and constructions. To ascend the rock, look for a spiral pathway starting from the eastern side.

Continue along the winding trail that ascends the rocky outcrop, and you’ll eventually arrive at a campsite where you’ll encounter Chief Grithan, requiring you to engage in combat.

After the battle concludes, you’ll spot a lofty crest on the southern face of the stone column. You can begin your ascent from the western side of the rock, following a trail that leads to a memento. This keepsake grants you the Nimanna’s Godlike Ability Recall, boosting your maximum Stamina by 10%.

Ancient Memory Location In Galawain’s Tusk

The Galawain’s Tusk Memory Is In The Slumbering Fields

The Galawain’s Tusk Ancient Memory can be found in the Slumbering Fields region, which is located far west on the map. An effective method to discover this area and the Ancient Memory is by embarking on the “Boundaries of Antiquity” side quest. While you don’t have to finish it, this mission will lead you close to the memory. Once you reach a stage in the quest where you are asked to clear the blocked Aqueduct, you can spot the memory from the ridge you’re standing on.

To access the memory, you need to navigate through a cave filled with spiders, situated north of it. Brave your way through this cave, and upon reaching a small ridge, you’ll be face-to-face with the memory. Overcoming this memory will bestow upon you the Remembrance of Maru ability, granting you a 10% boost in attack damage.

Ancient Memory Location In The Garden

The Garden Ancient Memory Is Past Avowed’s Point Of No Return

In The Garden lies the ultimate Ancient Memory, but due to its position beyond Avowed‘s turning point, it should be your last pick if you aim to gather them all. Given its elusive nature, remember to explore paths not indicated by the primary quest marker as it’s easy to overlook this memory.

The memory is located within the Broken Aqueduct sector of The Garden. After defeating the enemies in this area, Sapadal will utilize their power to elevate broken portions of the structure, allowing you to ascend and progress with your journey. Before scaling up, take a moment to survey your surroundings for a door marked by a radiant purple orb. Upon entering through this door, you’ll discover the final Ancient Memory, offering a breathtaking view over a vast landscape.

Sworn’s last Ancient Memory grants you Sapadal’s Recollection, a persistent ability that regularly restores your health when it drops below half. This can be an extremely beneficial Godlike Ability, particularly as it mitigates health-depleting effects such as poison. Moreover, this recollection might prove crucial in helping you reach a decisive moment in the game, making it all the more valuable to observe.
