URWERK’s Latest UR-100V Magic T Reference Spotlights a “Hunter Green” Dial

URWERK, known for its groundbreaking and forward-thinking timepieces, recently presented the latest version of the UR-100V Magic T, this time in a “Hunter Green” hue.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but admire the captivating similarity between the “Hunter Green” edition and the 2023 UR-100V Magic T variant with its metallic-gray dial, but what truly sets this new piece apart is its enchanting dial color. The dial, as the name suggests, transforms from a subtly metallic grey to an appealing ash green under different lighting conditions, creating a mesmerizing effect. Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK, shared his passion behind this design, stating, “We approached the creation of this metallic ash green with the same dedication as an artisan would to an antique patina, imbuing the timepiece with a unique industrial yet organic charm.

According to URWERK’s artistic director and co-founder, Martin Frei, the UR-100V is a versatile canvas offering endless opportunities for discovery. He likened its new color scheme to a vibrant, dynamic hue that responds to light and the passing of time.

With the self-winding UR 12.02 movement powering it, this new model boasts a running time of 48 hours. The Windfänger airscrew oversees its operation. The caliber, secured by 40 jewels and ticking at 28,800 beats per hour, guarantees both precision and dependability. This watch showcases satellite hours and minutes, along with indicators for orbital distance and rotational distance at the Equator every 20 minutes. This unique combination of functionality and artistic design is a standout feature.

The watch boasts a titanium case that has been sanded and shot-blasted, and it comes with a titanium link bracelet that seamlessly matches in finish. This harmonious design not only improves the watch’s overall appearance but also guarantees durability and comfort for the wearer.

The exclusive URWERK UR-100V Magic T “Hunter Green” watch, part of a 35-unit limited series, is set to launch and will be sold for 58,000 Swiss Francs (about $64,010 USD). For further details, visit the official brand’s website.
