Usher's Paris Concert Film Is Headed to Theaters This September

As a die-hard fan with decades of Usher’s melodious magic under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for “Usher: Rendezvous in Paris”! This isn’t just a concert film; it’s a testament to an iconic career that has spanned three glorious decades.

Starting this September 12th through the 15th, Usher’s new movie, called “Usher: Rendezvous in Paris“, will be screened, mirroring the success of artists like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift by bringing his latest concert tour to the big screen.

During Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale, the movie is described as embodying the unique charm of Usher’s iconic Vegas residencies, blended with a captivating French flair. According to the official description, it serves as a confession. Directed by Anthony Mandler, this concert film showcases many of Usher’s popular songs such as “Yeah”, “My Boo” and “Love In This Club,” along with several others.

In his statement, Usher expressed that Paris was a unique and memorable event both for him as an entertainer and for his audience. He wishes those who could not attend in person could still feel the specialness of it. For those who were present, he hopes they saw the effort behind the show from a fresh perspective.

“Usher has been enchanting and entertaining crowds with his music and live shows for three decades. More recently, he received glowing praise for his electrifying performance at the Super Bowl Half Time Show that was viewed by 129 million people. Now, AMC Theaters’ chairman Adam Aron believes that translating Usher’s unique concert experience onto the big screen is an ideal match for their global distribution.”

Starting this August, I’ll be able to grab my tickets for the global three-day movie marathon happening in over 2,000 cinemas worldwide! Can’t wait to catch this flick on the big screen!
