It’s not surprising at all that the richly complex and emotional universe of Viking mythology has proven to be a thriving playground for video games. Take, for instance, Lionheart Studios and their much-anticipated roguelike RPG titled Valhalla Survival, which is currently accepting pre-registrations before its launch on April 21st. Before the big day arrives, we’ve been given some exciting new details to share about what players can anticipate!
Initially, it’s important to note that Lionheart emphasizes a unique feature of Valhalla Survival, which is its vertical interface, delivered on Unreal Engine 5. What makes this game stand out is the one-handed play option, allowing you to engage in intense, brief (5-7 minute) battles while on the move for an action-packed experience.
Besides the quicker sessions, you can delve deeper into non-stop hack ‘n slash combat in Eternal Glory. Choose between Warrior, Sorceress, or Rogue characters, each with over 120 stages, numerous equipment items totaling 200, and a multitude of additional features. Additionally, expect to encounter 240 different monster types and epic boss battles.

Of course, every game features its unique set of abilities, and you can choose ten skills per playthrough to boost your odds of victory in Valhalla Survival. Although it’s not quite like Diablo, there’s no denying that this game seems poised to be a fantastic addition to the hack ‘n slash RPG genre on mobile devices.
While choosing a vertical approach might not sit well with certain fan bases, it’s worth noting that the product is set to debut with 13 languages and will be simultaneously released in more than 220 countries. In other words, the opinions of a specific group could have limited impact given such extensive global reach.
