As a 90’s kid at heart, this collaboration between Vandy the Pink and Pokémon has sent my nostalgia meter skyrocketing! Growing up with these iconic characters, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as I see Mewtwo, Gengar, and Charizard adorning hoodies that let me live out my dream of being a Pokémon trainer. The collegiate theme is the cherry on top, especially with the Charizard varsity jacket that’s got me yearning for those old school gym classes! I can almost hear Ash Ketchum’s theme song in the background as I scroll through the collection. And to think, I could have been a Pokémon master… if only Pikachu didn’t choose someone else back then! Now, if they could just create a pair of oversized baggy jeans that transform into a Pokéball when you step into them, life would be perfect!
Vandy the Pink is channeling their inner Pokémon trainer with a new collaborative capsule.
Next week, the eagerly anticipated Vandy the Pink x Pokémon collaboration will be here, stirring up feelings of nostalgia as it revives beloved characters such as Mewtwo, Gengar, Sun Eevee, Moon Eevee, Pikachu, Charizard, and many others. The collection includes a variety of hoodies that mirror the shapes of specific Pokémons, enabling fans to experience their deepest fantasies by embodying their favorite characters. Additionally, there are conventional hooded sweaters with silhouettes of a diverse array of some of the most iconic Pokémons on display. The same design is present on oversized, loose-fitting jeans as well.
This assortment features a university-inspired motif, featuring well-known Pokémons such as Charizard, who gets his own custom varsity jacket, jointly branded with Vandy The Pink logos. Moreover, t-shirts showcasing Gengar, Cubone and others are also included, expanding the diverse selection. This collaboration goes live on November 19th, exclusively online.
