Over the last several months, Varun Dhawan has been keeping himself occupied by filming various projects. Apart from this, he’s also been cherishing precious moments with his little girl, Lara. As his 38th birthday approaches, which marks his first as a father, Varun is getting ready to celebrate. In fact, Varun had an early birthday celebration by blowing out candles in the presence of the paparazzi.
On April 21, 2025, three days prior to his birthday, Varun Dhawan was seen outside a restaurant in Mumbai. Perched on the stairs, he enjoyed a scrumptious-looking chocolate cake adorned with ‘Happy Birthday VD’ in frosting. The actor beamed uncontrollably. He also obliged for photographs and expressed his gratitude to the paparazzi.
VD wore a stylish ensemble, sporting a red t-shirt, beige trousers, and brown footwear. To complete the outfit, he added a touch of class with white shades.

Supporters expressed their affection for Varun Dhawan using red hearts and fire symbols. One message stated, “It’s almost your birthday (smiling with heart-shaped eyes emoji).
For those not in the know, Varun Dhawan became a parent last year when he and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their first child – a baby girl born on June 3, 2024. A heartfelt message from the delighted parents was shared via Instagram, expressing their joy and asking for privacy during this memorable moment. They appreciated everyone’s support and understanding.
In the course of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Varun revealed that affectionately, they’d christened their little girl as Lara.
Currently in his career, Varun Dhawan has several films planned ahead. He will soon appear in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy led by Shashank Khaitan. This project brings him together with Janhvi Kapoor once more. Additionally, the cast includes Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
Besides working on SSKTK, Varun is currently filming for the upcoming war movie titled “Border 2”, set to be released in 2026. He also has two more projects lined up: “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” and “Bhediya 2”.
