As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the entertainment industry, I must say that Vedang Raina’s candid insights into his co-star Suhana Khan during their time together on The Archies set offer an intriguing glimpse into the dynamic behind-the-scenes.
Vedang Raina is a budding actor who made his debut in show business with Zoya Akhtar’s teen musical The Archies alongside friends such as Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Aditi ‘Dot’ Saigal. In a recent interview, he shared his thoughts on his co-stars, highlighting one quality that he admires in each of them and one that he patiently endures. Regarding Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Vedang mentioned that she was the one who often required the most time on set.
In conversation with Galatta India regarding his fellow actors in the Industry, Vedang Raina mentioned that one quality he appreciates about Suhana Khan is her warmth towards others. He further shared one aspect of Suhana Khan he patiently endures. Reminiscing about their debut OTT movie The Archies’ sets, he remembered Suhana taking the longest time to get ready among them all.
Raina explained, “In essence, the men would need 15 minutes, leaving you idle for 40 minutes while waiting for Suhana. I wish good luck to whoever’s sharing a scene with Suhana because there have been instances when our hair would get in each other’s way during filming. From personal experience on Zoya Akhtar’s movie set, the hair team worked tirelessly to manage Khan’s hair. However, it wasn’t anyone’s fault, as it was a necessary aspect of the film.
In terms of his acting career, Vedang is preparing to appear alongside Alia Bhatt in Vasan Bala’s upcoming film. On the other hand, Suhana Khan is set to make her cinematic debut with her famous father, Shah Rukh Khan, in Sujoy Ghosh’s action film King. According to a source, the production of King is expected to begin in January of next year. Additionally, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan and producer Siddharth Anand are aiming to release King by mid-2026.
