Versant, the newly rebranded collection of NBCU cable channels previously known as SpinCo, has unveiled its initial programming lineup. Starting from the 2025-26 television season, viewers can expect an array of daring original series, high-profile sports broadcasts, and iconic live events, according to a press release issued by Versant’s public relations team on Monday.
As a fan, here’s my take on the news: E! revealed five new unscripted series all by themselves at the NBC upfront, while Syfy and USA Network each showed off one fresh scripted series. Last but not least, Oxygen is bringing two brand-new shows to the table – both about killers, so we’ll have to wait and see if they’re any good!
In total, Versant presented 16 fresh ideas to a crowd of advertisers in the grand ballroom of Radio City Music Hall.
