As a lifestyle expert with a penchant for delving into the personal lives of celebrities, I find Vicky Kaushal’s story to be both relatable and amusing. The way his mother candidly pointed out his ‘most desirable’ status while simultaneously poking fun at his weight gain is a classic case of the love-hate relationship many of us have with our mothers.
In an informal and engaging rephrase, we could say: Growing up, Vicky Kaushal hailed from a quintessential Punjabi household brimming with food, family bonding, and endless laughter. Often, he shares amusing chats reminiscent of those at his home. Recently, his brother Sunny Kaushal recounted an entertaining episode where the Manmarziyaan actor was playfully reprimanded by their mother over a magazine labeling Vicky as the ‘most desirable man‘.
More recently, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Sunny Leone shared an interesting tidbit: During the same period when Vicky Kaushal topped the list of most desired men, Sunny Leone (the actor from Sam Bahadur) had just returned home from America after gaining some weight. Sunny speculates that his brother may have indulged in ice cream and pizza with friends while he was away, resulting in the extra pounds.
Junior Kaushal disclosed that Vicky Kaushal was relaxing on a sofa without his shirt on, showing off his noticeable physique. His mother, holding a newspaper where it stated he’s the most desirable man, announced to everyone, “Look at this fellow, the ‘most desirable’ is sitting with a bit of a belly.”
Sunny said after this, the Masaan actor hit the gym to shed those extra pounds.
Speaking candidly in a recent interview about the feedback I receive, much like my character in Shiddat, I shared that my mother, just as authentic and genuine, offers her honest opinions without reservation. “If she appreciates it, she’ll express it wholeheartedly. If something falls short or doesn’t resonate with her, she won’t hesitate to voice her dissatisfaction. And if there are aspects that leave her puzzled, she’ll let me know that she didn’t quite grasp them,” I shared, adding humorously, “This approach isn’t exactly my preferred method of tea-making!”
Sunny Kaushal and Vicky Kaushal, two talented actors, are the sons of action director Sham Kaushal and his wife Veena Kaushal, both veterans in the industry. In terms of recent work, Vicky appeared in Bad Newz alongside Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. This comedy film by Anand Tiwari served as a follow-up to the 2019 film Good Newwz. Upcoming, you’ll see him starring alongside Rashmika Mandanna in Chhava.
Instead, let’s talk about Sunny who is preparing for the upcoming series “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” that will be available on Netflix starting from August 9th.
