Digital Extremes appears to have entered a new phase with the mobile launch of Warframe, as they introduce their popular third-person action game, a mix of hack ‘n slash and shooting, to a completely new group of players. Additionally, Android users can now sign up for pre-registration for the next phase of Warframe’s release!

Absolutely! Digital Extremes recently shared a wealth of updates. Here’s what we learned about Warframe: They are collaborating with studio The Line on an upcoming anime short set in 1999. Additionally, there’s a new element to their ongoing ARG involving the fictional boy band On-Lyne. Remarkably, Digital Extremes has even compiled a catalog of this entire ARG.

In addition to further refinements and enhancements coming to Warframe: 1999, there’s also the upcoming Faceoff PvPvE multiplayer mode, the rejoining of Neil Newborn, a former member of Baldur’s Gate 3 team, to the voice cast, romantic interactions among the inhabitants of the Hex in 1999 (oh my!), and additional details about the 59th warframe, Cyte-09.
