The arrival of the 58th Warframe, Koumei, a dice maiden, brings an entirely fresh playstyle revolving around luck and chance – something I’ve always been partial to in real life, too.
The long-awaited update for Warframe, titled Koumei & the Five Fates, has been released by Digital Extremes on all current platforms. This exciting addition brings a multitude of new content to the popular game, including a new Warframe, a unique mission type, and quality-of-life improvements. Additionally, there’s a spooky surprise in store for players this Halloween!
The core feature in Warframe’s recent update is undoubtedly Koumei, the dice-maiden – the 58th Warframe added to the roster. With Koumei, gameplay revolves around luck and unpredictability, allowing for a distinct playstyle where fortune can bring about potent bonuses or hinder enemies with detrimental status conditions. She summons protective talismans, ensnares foes with uncertain consequences, and alters the strands of destiny to inflict additional status effects.
