- Warframe is going back to 1999 with its latest content update
- The Isleweaver sees the return of Major Rusalka and introduces new areas to explore
- Take on Operation: Eight Claw and fight it out with Oraxia, the 61st Warframe
Warframe’s 1999 expansion has earned a reputation among fans as a favorite, offering a peek into the ancient past of the Warframe universe while providing engaging single-player experiences. Starting June 25th, fans will have another chance to explore this era again with the upcoming Isleweaver update, which teases more content that takes place at the turn of the millennium.
If you’ve finished the Warframe: 1999 quest called “The Hex”, you’ll unlock additional parts of the Kingdom of Duviri. In this extended region, you’ll encounter Major Rusalka again, with the ominous figures of Murmur and Indifference nearby. By gathering lore pieces, you’ll reveal hidden storyline secrets and find a new island featuring Scholar’s Landing.
Up next for me is Operation: Eight Claw, where I join forces with Dominus Thrax to retake the specified island and Duviri’s throne from Rusalka and the Murmur in this fresh Clan Operation. Along the way, there will be intriguing pieces of lore to discover about Rusalka’s background, and you can even earn rewards from past Clan Operations by completing this one, all the way until July 16th.
Party like it’s 1999
On Scholar’s Landing, you might notice a fresh face stepping into the role of boss, as the 61st Warframe, Oraxia, is now up for combat. Known for her skill in creating disorder, Oraxia debilitates enemies with poison and summons swarms of spiderlings to fight by her side during battles. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire two new weapons alongside Oraxia: the barb-laden Scyotid throwing weapon and the Spinnerex whip.
Don’t forget to watch out for the upcoming premium cosmetics, both TennoGen and the new ones, which are ideal for enhancing your Warframe’s appearance once Isleweaver is released.
