Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – How to Heal

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - How to Heal

As a veteran of countless battles across the Warhammer 40,000 universe, I can confidently say that the art of healing in Space Marine 2 is as essential as wielding a sharp-edged power sword. The relentless enemies you face are nothing if not determined to see you six feet under, so every scrap of knowledge about health management is gold.

As a devoted fan of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, I can’t help but feel the adrenaline rush every time I encounter enemies with lethal skills. They’re relentless in their pursuit to annihilate me. To counterbalance this, it’s crucial to excel in using my Special Abilities and yielding potent weapons. This is the key to creating a more level playing field.

In any fight, you’re bound to take damage. Proper health management can make all the difference and prevent you from losing progress. Luckily, there are multiple ways to go about this.

How to Heal in Space Marine 2

Before diving into the methods to heal in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, there are a few things you should be aware of:

Medicae Stimms

The main way to regenerate health is by using Medicae Stimms. These useful medical supplies can restore 30% of your health with a single use. However, using them on missions with low difficulty will result in lower health regeneration.

A notable aspect of the Medicae Stimms is that they don’t boost your disputed health directly. Instead, they can enhance it indirectly by inflicting damage (or eliminating) on your opponents.

To wrap things up, I’ve encountered these items scattered across the Operations gameplay. Fret not about their frequency, as there’s plenty to go around. Just remember to stay alert and keep your eyes peeled while I traverse the virtual world.

Healing Mortal Wounds

Once you’ve used Medicae Stimms to regenerate your health, the Mortal Wound Debuff will be removed.

There are two downsides to this:

  • It deems you unable to be revived.
  • It delays respawn time.

This is why it is always great to use Medica Stimms when you’ve got a Mortal Wound.

Healing Contested Health

The white portion of your health bar is known as Contested Health.

There are two main strategies you should focus on to recover your contested health. Each method requires careful execution during battle to ensure you can stay in the fight longer. Here are the two ways you can retrieve contested health:

  • Deal damage to your enemies.
  • Execute your opponents (results in an instant (and complete) recovery.)

As a keen enthusiast, I can’t stress enough the importance of being vigilant about our shared health issue, for it won’t remain accessible indefinitely.

Class and Weapon Perks

Beyond inflicting damage, some Character and Equipment Traits also boost your Resilience Health during conflicts:

  • Vanguard: Unmatched Zeal (Team Perk).
  • Bulwark: Invigorating Icon (Gear Perk).
  • Heavy: Bonds of Brotherhood (Team Perk).

Use the following Weapon Perks:

  • Rapid Health: Killing ten enemies in rapid succession will increase your health by 5%. (Only works when your health is below 30%).
  • Elite Health: Eliminating a Majoris-level enemy using a melee weapon will increase your health by 5%. (Only works when your health is below 30%).
  • Instant Health: Killing three enemies with a single shot increases health by 5%.(Only works when your health is below 30%).
