As a fan who has journeyed through Bad Bunny’s musical odyssey, I must say that his latest venture, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos, seems to be a deeply personal and poignant exploration of his roots and experiences. The collaboration with the legendary Jacobo Morales adds a layer of authenticity that resonates profoundly with me.
The short film feels like a nostalgic walk down memory lane, capturing the essence of Puerto Rico – a place that Bad Bunny holds close to his heart. It’s a poignant reminder of the importance of cherishing moments and taking more photos, as they encapsulate our memories and experiences.
As the release date approaches, I find myself eagerly anticipating this album, hoping it will transport me back to the vibrant rhythm and soul of Puerto Rico that Bad Bunny so beautifully embodies. And just when I thought I couldn’t love Bad Bunny any more, he goes and collaborates with a talking donkey! Now that’s what I call a twist in a tale! 🐎🎶
Last week, Bad Bunny unveiled details about his upcoming studio project. He shared the title and release date – DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos, set to be released on January 5 – through an intriguing teaser trailer featuring renowned Puerto Rican director Jacobo Morales. As the much-awaited album launch day approaches, the artist has now revealed a complete short film to promote it.
Reflecting at the start, Morales muses over his numerous life experiences, encounters with countless good people, and journeys to various nations across the globe, almost everywhere on Earth. However, Puerto Rico – or what it once was – holds a unique place in his heart.
I felt an indescribable enchantment lingering around. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s definitely here, persisting and enveloping this space.
Morales has a chat with his buddy Concho (voiced by Kenneth Canales), and they look back on old times. He confesses that if he could change something, it would be taking more pictures throughout their shared history, which is why the album bears that title.
He reflects, saying, “I wish I had taken more pictures to share with you, as photos represent the moments we’ve lived and the memories of the experiences we’ve had.
As the eleven-minute film progresses, Morales realizes just how much Puerto Rico has changed.
