As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with over two decades of fandom under my belt, I must say that Marvel’s “Agatha All Along” has piqued my interest significantly. With Kathryn Hahn breathing life into Agatha Harkness, the character is set to explore a darker side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) while maintaining a touch of humor – a perfect blend that I’ve grown to appreciate over the years.
In the Marvel series titled “Agatha All Along“, we delve deeper into the character of Agatha Harkness, brilliantly portrayed by Kathryn Hahn. This captivating show will unravel the eerier dimensions of the Marvel cinematic universe, while maintaining a touch of humor to keep things intriguing. Kathryn Hahn plays a significant role in infusing humor throughout the series, and at one point, she delivers a memorable line: “Eat my ass.” This is an unprecedented moment in a Disney+ production, as Hahn becomes the first to say it. These unique instances are exactly what fans eagerly anticipate.
Our own Sean O’Connell spoke to Kathryn Hahn during the press junket for her upcoming Marvel show and brought up the line in question. The always cheeky Hahn was enthusiastic about the NSFW milestone she managed to accomplish. However, in the clip from our Instagram, she also humorously provided one small piece of clarification regarding the “eat my ass” line:
Thank you. Right now is when the confetti should fall. I don’t know why it’s not. Thank you, this is up there for me. … Just a slight correction, it’s “Eat my ass, chief.” Not that that lightens it, but you know, it’s more specific.
If you haven’t watched “Agatha All Along” yet, I’m wondering when exactly that specific line is spoken. Since Harkness has a complex character, she might say this to either an adversary or a confidant. It’s almost unbelievable that such a dialogue will appear in a Disney+ production, but it underscores how the streaming service and Disney as a whole are evolving their content to be more versatile.

As a die-hard Marvel fan, I can’t help but notice the evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) over the years. It’s like watching my favorite superheroes grow up! For instance, remember when Star-Lord dropped the F-bomb in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 back in 2023? That was a real game-changer! And let’s not forget the exciting news about Deadpool and Wolverine getting their R-rated movies – it’s like they’re finally letting loose!
As a gaming enthusiast diving headfirst into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), I’m eagerly anticipating that there’s more to Agatha All Along than just adult-themed conversations between characters. Post the events of WandaVision, this series promises to delve deeper into the supernatural aspects of the MCU, with Harkness forming a coven to confront the challenges that lie ahead on the notorious Witches’ Road. The team behind the scenes has been keeping their cards close to their chest, which made them uneasy when Sean O’Connell asked them about Wanda Maximoff.
Despite my initial surprise, it’s clear that showrunner Jac Schaeffer and their team aren’t shy about incorporating unexpected dialogue, such as “Eat my ass.” This suggestive language might not be an isolated incident throughout the upcoming nine-episode series. It seems we are entering a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Disney+, and the entire company – one that may embrace a slightly more explicit vocabulary.
Agatha All Along’s first two episodes are set to premiere for Disney+ subscribers on September 18th, with the timing being 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Further episodes will be released every Wednesday at the same time within the 2024 TV schedule.
