Jenna Ortega is now filming the second installment of the popular Netflix series titled “Wednesday,” scheduled to air in 2025. This show, based on Charles Addams’ famous comics about The Addams Family, delves into the escapades of Wednesday Addams during her high school years at Nevermore Academy. The program has earned critical acclaim, garnering four Primetime Emmy Awards and numerous Golden Globe nominations, including one for Best Actress in recognition of Jenna Ortega’s portrayal.
As a cinephile eagerly anticipating the new season, I can’t help but notice a shift towards the terrifying and action-packed. Romantic entanglements seem to be taking a backseat, which aligns perfectly with Ortega’s disdain for the love triangle – she finds it incongruous for her character.
