As I gaze upon the my beloved digital realm this week, I find myself enamored by a myriad of tantalizing offerings of games that await me. The imminent release of “Rainbow Six Siege” (wink)
At last, here we are on Friday! Let’s unwind with some beloved video games instead of tackling household chores. Pop open a refreshing beverage, and let’s delve into those long-neglected titles in our game library!
As a dedicated fan, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with this past month’s series of games! The team has been phenomenal in creating comprehensive guides that make every step of the journey smoother for us fans.
In terms of both reimagined classics and completely fresh horror survival games, November’s entertainment offerings have been quite diverse. Yet, if you’re anything like myself who has an extensive gaming backlog spanning multiple console generations, perhaps you’re eager to work your way through that list as well.
Here are links to guides for some of this month’s hottest titles:
- Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake
- Mario & Luigi: Brothership
- Mirthwood
- Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl
As a gamer, I extended my connections within the gaming community network to find out the buzz this weekend! Here’s hoping these insights will aid you in choosing your next gaming adventure.
Enjoy!

I’ve plunged myself back into the world of Dragon Quest XI. Having recently revisited the remake of Dragon Quest 3, I decided it was time to complete this one first. It’s an exceptional game that harks back to the classics, making it ideal for a few sessions before bedtime. I’ve clocked around 20-30 hours so far, and I’m well aware there’s still a lot more ground to cover.
Apart from that, I aim to devote additional hours to “Batman: Arkham Shadow” on my Oculus Quest 3. Despite being a virtual reality game, it provides an authentic Arkham experience. However, I often struggle to find the time to play with the headset. It’s certainly worth trying out, though.
Lastly, I have the Monster Hunter bug again after the Monster Hunter: Wilds Beta and have been playing Monster Hunter NOW on my mobile. Yes, it’s a Pokemon GO reskin, and yes, I play sitting on the couch, but something is comforting and rewarding about shooting those monsters to get myself some better gear.
I’ve covered my part for this week, so let’s find out what the rest of the team is working on over the weekend.

After checking out Kris’s videos of Monster Hunter Wilds, I can see myself getting back into the swing of things with my Insect Glaive in Monster Hunter Rise. I plan to dedicate a good portion of my weekend to playing this game, enjoying some dango along the way and, of course, hunting monsters for their parts.
I like my weekend mornings to be easy and evenings to be relaxing, but if I ever feel a competitive gaming itch during the weekend, I’ll boot up Dota 2 and sacrifice a few brain cells. However, if I end up with another 10-game losing streak this Sunday night, I might not be setting myself up with the best start to the week. Give me back my MMR, Gaben!

This Friday finds us here! With the anticipated arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 scheduled for next year (fingers crossed), I’ve chosen to tackle the Switch exclusives I haven’t completed yet. Surprisingly, the straightforward gameplay and graphics of Pokemon Sword have drawn me in.
While I find the gameplay and narrative of Scarlet/Violet captivating, there’s an endearing quality to the straightforward, linear structure of a traditional Pokemon game. It may not push boundaries in terms of gameplay, but there’s a certain comfort in exploring the Galar region.

With Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming operation, Operation Collision Point, almost here, it’s a great time to test out the new features on the Test Server. Blackbeard’s shield could offer both excitement (while using it) and annoyance (when faced against it), so I’m not sure if my “chill guy” persona will last long.
I’m contemplating giving VALORANT a try and checking out the updates in Patch 9.10, such as Phoenix’s enhancement, the fresh Regen Shield, and the novel cardboard package. Firing a cardboard gun seems quite intriguing.
Oh, and if I’ve got the time, I will give Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Ranked Play a chance!

Despite playing Overwatch 2 earlier in the week, I intend to carry on with my competitive gaming this weekend too. At the moment, I’m stuck at Gold 3, but I remain optimistic about climbing up to Platinum, albeit it may take some time before that becomes a reality.
Occasionally, I may dive into some casual games given that the trial period for the latest character, Hazard, is underway too. However, my primary goal remains to advance in rank and hopefully reclaim a spot in Gold 2.

In the coming days, I’ll plunge deep into the world of Night City as I carry on with my journey in Cyberpunk 2077. Though the game launched some time ago, I just started playing recently and find myself captivated by it. This weekend, I plan to explore the post-apocalyptic landscape of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, a new game that has just been released.
I’m really into games set in post-apocalyptic worlds. I’m a huge fan of both the Fallout and Metro series, so it seems like I should give S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl a go. The game has sparked some controversy, as many players have reported various bugs, but I’m still eager to try it out.
I’m excited to give it a go and find out if the criticisms are overblown or if there are technical problems with the game. More importantly, though, I can’t wait to wander around the beautiful city of Chernobyl and immerse myself in a post-apocalyptic setting.

It’s Friday again, which means gaming weekend is here! I’ll be playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 right after logging out from work as I need to grind up my Bulwark and Tactical Space Marines. I need them to look as badass as possible with those Astartes armor sets!
While my wife is heading out for her weekend work, I intend to delve deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 and make progress in the Phantom Liberty expansion. I’ve already invested about 40 hours into it, and I just can’t seem to tear myself away!
