Aishwarya told the story about how the actor notified her, explaining, “‘Everyone will be here and I can’t prevent dad from coming. We’re already on our way to your place.’ At that moment, I exclaimed, ‘Oh my God!’ This significant event, known as a ‘roka,’ was confirmed with a call to my father who is currently away.

During the unexpected roka ceremony, she expressed her bewilderment and sought understanding from her mother, Brindya Rai. As the Bachchan family made their way in, clearly moved by the situation, Aishwarya found herself swept up by the rapidly developing events.

The actress explained the situation, stating that as her mother and the Bachchans were immersed in the moment, she exclaimed, “Mum is here, we are here. They’ve all returned home, they are emotional, everyone does. I’m thinking, ‘Wow, this is happening.’ Then it feels like, ‘let’s go home’. I’m wondering, ‘Mom, okay…is this…is this an engagement? Like, what exactly transpired?’
