Here’s one instance where their friendship was highlighted: During an appearance on Karan Johar’s talk show, Alia Bhatt, who starred in Gangubai Kathiawadi, admitted that she felt insecure around Parineeti Chopra because the latter was exceptionally talented. This confession was made during the release of their debut film, Student of the Year.

In the heart of Biba mundas, with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra by her side, Alia was overheard stating, “At times I do experience feelings of insecurity, which I believe is crucial for me because it motivates me to work harder.” Karan Johar then inquired about who makes her feel the most uncertain, and without hesitation, she pointed towards Parineeti Chopra.

Alia went on to say, “I truly admire her; I believe she’s outstanding. What I admire most is that I wish I could be as skilled as she is. Parineeti expressed that she was flattered when Alia complimented her on Koffee with Karan, saying, “I even reached out to Alia personally to assure her that there’s no need for her to feel insecure, as I believe Alia will undoubtedly become a huge star.

In the same conversation, Chopra continued to admire Alia for her captivating characteristics and outstanding on-screen charm. He added that if Alia weren’t an actress, he would be a fan of hers just as anyone else would be. However, as a fellow actress, Chopra acknowledged that Alia is exceptionally clever, very attractive, and possesses a remarkable screen presence. In terms of work, Parineeti doesn’t currently have any announced projects, whereas Alia has a total of two films coming up. The first one, “Jigra,” will hit theaters on October 11 this year, and afterwards, she will appear in “Alpha,” which is still under production.
