As a seasoned observer of the dynamic world of Bollywood, I must say that the antics behind the scenes of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan are as entertaining as the film itself. Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav’s shared misadventure with black coffee disguised as vodka shots is a testament to their camaraderie and the pressure cooker environment that is Bollywood. It’s a reminder that even the most polished stars can succumb to the temptation of an impromptu party on set!
1) Option A: Ananya Panday is rapidly making a name for herself in Bollywood, and her recent projects demonstrate this perfectly. Most recently, she appeared in Vikramaditya Motwane’s movie, CTRL, which was released in October of this year. Interestingly, it has been reported that during the filming of their upcoming 2023 project Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya’s co-star Adarsh Gourav discovered that she had secretly consumed black coffee disguised as vodka on set, and both actors ended up feeling unwell as a result.
Tiger Baby Films’ official Instagram account, specifically their Off The Record series, posted a video with Adarsh Gourav providing voiceover. In this clip, Adarsh shared some insights about his experience working on the set of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Notably, he disclosed that his most cherished scene is the “I Wanna See You Dance” track, for which he felt quite apprehensive prior to filming it.
Regarding our song rehearsals, Adarsh mentioned, “Fortunately, we had two weeks to prepare. I’m convinced that neither Siddhant nor Ananya required it in the slightest. Unfortunately, on the day itself, Ananya and I made a regrettable choice: we consumed black coffee, which we mistakenly thought were vodka shots. We both fell ill as a result. The shoot had to be halted for two days…” (sic)
The actor from The White Tiger originally felt anxious about the filming process, but they resumed shooting just two days later and filmed the song afterwards. Looking back on his time there, Adarsh shared that he was given some of the “best” advice – it doesn’t matter if you’re not perfect, as long as you maintain a smile on your face while doing it.
