Famous wedding filmmaker Vishal Punjabi, known for his work at The Wedding Filmer in Bollywood, recently shared some intriguing information about a well-known couple who declined to keep the record of their wedding with him.
A married Bollywood actor was caught red-handed with an actress, claims Vishal Punjabi
In a recent interview on YouTube with DJ Simz, wedding videographer Vishal Punjabi was questioned about any marriages he filmed that ended in divorce. Reflecting on past experiences, Vishal mentioned an instance involving a well-known Bollywood actor who deceitfully strayed from his wife just two months after their wedding ceremony.
The founder of The Wedding Filmer spoke without revealing names, sharing that he was discovered in a makeup trailer on a Bollywood film set, in the company of a well-known actress from Bollywood.
“His wife walks in and catches him naked, and says, ‘I don’t want your wedding film’,” he added.
The bride and groom didn’t accept their wedding film, says Vishal Punjabi
Vishal Punjabi explained the situation further by sharing that he tried calling the groom multiple times, but he didn’t answer. Additionally, he spoke with the bride, yet she declined taking the wedding video.
The wedding filmmaker then learnt that the couple was in no mood to accept the film.
After being left speechless by Vishal’s actions, the filmmaker considered offering their wedding film to Netflix instead. Following this event, the filmmaker decided to request payment in full upfront for future projects, as opposed to the previous 50-50 split in contracts with clients.
Vishal Punjabi still owns the footage of their wedding film
In the same podcast, Vishal Punjabi admitted that he hadn’t inquired about any outstanding debts. Nevertheless, The Wedding Filmer’s proprietor retains ownership of the footage from their wedding video.
Regarding the video he took, Vishal mentioned that the groom’s tears during his heartfelt speech to the bride were more like those of a crocodile. The wedding videographer described it as a humorous film, which he believed would generate substantial revenue.
