In my role as a devoted follower, I’d like to share an experience from 2018 when promoting the film Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se. At a media gathering, alongside my sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, I, Dharmendra, had the pleasure of expressing my admiration for Salman Khan. During our interaction, I openly acknowledged his exceptional qualities as a genuinely good person.

Dharmendra expressed his deep affection for Salman Khan and praised him as an exceptional individual. In addition, he said that Salman is truly authentic. The actor from “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” also reminisced about working with Salman on the set of Tiger 3. During filming at a lake, the camera accidentally fell into the water and Salman promptly dove in to retrieve it, swimming deep to recover the equipment.

At this point, Dharmendra believed that the actor from Race 3 showed great courage. Having previously witnessed him both dance and act, the veteran star added that he is also sensitive. “If you aren’t a good person,” Dharmendra declared in his film Apne, “you are worthless.”

1998 saw Salman Khan and Dharmendra acting together in the romantic comedy movie “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya”, directed by Sohail Khan. In this film, Salman portrayed the lead character, Suraj Khanna, while Dharmendra took on the role of Ajay Singh Thakur. Besides them, the cast included Kajol, Arbaaz Khan, Anjala Zaveri, and other notable actors.

In 218, the star of B-town, affectionately known as bhaijaan, graced the song Rafta Rafta Medley in Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se. Simultaneously, on his professional journey, Dharmendra is engrossed in filming Desh Ke Gaddar. Moreover, he’s involved in Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis, a production helmed by Sriram Raghavan.

Regarding Salman Khan, he’s currently working on the eagerly awaited movie titled “Sikandar.” This film is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The release date for “Sikandar” is set for the EID weekend in 2025.
