When Gauri Khan revealed Shah Rukh Khan ‘nearly pulled out’ Aryan during her labor and then said ‘It was not gruesome’

As an ardent fan of Bollywood, I find myself utterly captivated by the heartwarming tales of our beloved stars and their journey through parenthood. The reminiscence of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan about Aryan Khan’s birth is a testament to the raw, unfiltered emotions that come with becoming parents.

The popular Bollywood pair, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, are generating a lot of discussion due to their upcoming parenthood. Meanwhile, let’s reminisce about when Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan shared insights about the birth of their son, Aryan Khan, and recounted the experience of his delivery.

During an open conversation on Simi Garewal’s well-known talk show, Shah Rukh Khan shared memories of being present during his wife, Gauri Khan’s first delivery. The actor jokingly admitted, “I wasn’t aware of what happens when a woman goes into labor. They say you should breathe together, but she wasn’t breathing. Instead, she was making quite unusual noises, nothing like what you see in movies.

Gauri went on to explain that she experienced minimal labor pains due to her Caesarean delivery. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh admitted his surprise, as he had been unaware that one doesn’t need to breathe during a Caesarean operation, which is why he was consistently taking breaths.

When the host asked Shah Rukh if he witnessed the birth, he affirmatively replied, “Indeed, indeed, I was in attendance.” Subsequently, Gauri emphasized that SRK was quite involved in the process, stating, “He was almost delivering the baby himself and snapping photos. The doctors exclaimed, ‘Let us handle this.’ ‘Allow us to sew her up.’

Shah Rukh Khan shared that he entered the room wearing a mask, then helped remove the newborn from its mother. He emphasized that this experience wasn’t gory or disturbing but rather fascinating, describing the vivid colors of the baby – red, blue, and yellow – as something extraordinary and not gruesome at all. Lastly, he expressed concern for the mother, Gauri, whom he has known for a long time, rather than the newborn.

To those unfamiliar, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan share three children: Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. While Shah Rukh is making every effort to debut his daughter Suhana on the big screen through his upcoming film KING, Aryan Khan is preparing himself for a career in the industry as a director.
