Priyanka Chopra stated, “I didn’t intentionally glance at his past relationships. Regardless of who he dated, it’s irrelevant to our current conversation. We should focus on the future. I often say this, I don’t dwell on the past. I believe in moving forward.”

She acknowledged that numerous individuals have attempted to contact her via direct messages, but none had ever proposed the phrase, “We should meet.” Quoting herself, PeeCee said, “What an arrogant move! So attractive!” She further mentioned that much like any dignified woman, she first researched him online and discovered Nick Jonas’s music video titled ‘Close.’
Priyanka expressed, “I swiftly messaged him my contact number. I felt like his physique warranted at least a date. Every time he performs that song on stage for me, it makes me swoon.” Additionally, she clarified that she reached out to him because her team was aware of her messages as well.
The actress who portrayed Bajirao Mastani disclosed that she and Nick were already in a relationship when their conversations began. At the time, her co-stars disliked her boyfriend due to frequent phone calls during which she cried, prompting them to constantly suggest alternative suitors such as, “Here’s a new guy you might like.”
Nick still teases Priyanka about the incident from years ago where she didn’t attend their planned first date at the White House. She revealed, “He went out with Jonathan Tucker instead because I was busy filming, but he still jokes about it. He often says something like, ‘Imagine if our first date had been Obama’s last dinner or whatever.'”
