As a die-hard Salman Khan fan, I’ve been following his journey since the days of “Maine Pyar Kiya.” Over the years, I’ve seen him rise from a young charmer to a powerful superstar, weathering numerous storms with grace and resilience. The recent headlines about his house firing case have been concerning, but they haven’t dulled my admiration for him.
Salman Khan, who is one of the popular stars in the Hindi cinema, is currently gearing up for his upcoming film, Sikandar. Salman has been grabbing headlines for his house firing case these days. Amidst this, an anecdote from his 2008 film, Yuvvraaj, has caught our attention on the Internet about how he didn’t judge comedian, Cyrus Broacha‘s drunken state in one of his interviews.
In the most recent installment of his podcast, Cyrus Says, Cyrus Broacha recounted his tale of interviewing Salman Khan while under the influence himself, as the humorist had been intoxicated the night before.
Cyrus mentioned that he had been out till 3 a.m., then got called by Salman’s assistant for an early-morning meeting. He commented, “They summoned me at 9 a.m., and I was still groggy from the hangover.” The comedian spoke candidly about it.
Cyrus also recalled a moment when he needed to be sick at a place serving biryani, and he shared this experience. He mentioned that only Salman Khan knew his struggle at the time, as there were no harsh judgments from him.
During his appearance on Cyrus Broacha’s podcast, actor Cyrus Sahukar shared that comedian Salman Khan has been exceptionally kind to him.
Under the guidance of director Subhash Ghai, the movie titled Yuvvraaj featured Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, and Mithun Chakraborty. This film premiered back in 2008.
In his professional career, Cyrus Broacha is particularly recognized for hosting the MTV show “Bakra,” which aired on the channel for eight consecutive years. Besides television, he has also acted in films such as “99” and “The Shaukeens.” In 2015, Cyrus made an appearance in the movie “Roy,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
As a longtime resident of Mumbai and a follower of Bollywood, I can’t help but feel concerned about the ongoing incidents of violence that have affected some of our most beloved celebrities, like Salman Khan. Last year, on April 14, two gunmen opened fire at his residence in Bandra, an event that sent shockwaves through the city and the entertainment industry as a whole. Now, seven months later, it appears that progress is being made in the case, with the Mumbai Crime Branch filing a chargesheet of over 1,700 pages in July.
According to a copy obtained by India Today, Salman admitted that Lawrence Bishnoi was involved in the shooting incident. Khan explained that Lawrence ordered the shooting, which was carried out by his gang associates.
Based on recent reports, the defendant in this case has asserted that he was swayed by the ideologies of Lawrence Bishnoi. On Monday, the defendant submitted a bail application to a special court in Mumbai, according to PTI’s news.
He additionally declared that Bishnoi was falsely implicated in the Salman Khan hunting incident, and Bishnoi had no involvement in the attack. The suspect further asserted that he discharged gunfire merely to intimidate Salman Khan regarding his 1998 blackbuck hunting charges.
In my line of work, I recently appeared in Maneesh Sharma’s latest directorial project, titled “Tiger 3.” This is a follow-up to the film “Tiger Zinda Hai,” which was released back in 2017. The upcoming movie in 2023 also stars Katrina Kaif as the main lead.
Besides Salman’s popular films, there are several others such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg, Wanted, Kick, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Sultan, Bodyguard, Tere Naam, and many more.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that my upcoming cinematic venture, titled Sikandar, is under the visionary direction of the esteemed AR Murgadoss. Last year, you might remember me sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. Well, this time around, I have the privilege of working alongside the charismatic Salman Khan in this film.
Under the production of Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson, the movie titled “Sikandar” has been planned for release on Eid 2025. Are you eager to catch this upcoming flick in the cinemas?
