When she spotted the filmmaker during the event, her friends encouraged her to approach him and say hello. So, Adah did just that, introducing herself to the director of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Following a glance at Sharma and a momentary pause, Bhansali inquired whether Adah was Anu Malik’s daughter. In that instant, the actress pondered whether to share her work history like The Kerala Story, Sunflower, and more, or simply confirm his statement. Opting for the latter, Adah acknowledged Bhansali by saying “Yes.” Upon receiving a positive reply from Sharma, the director then asked about her father Anu Malik, to which she responded with a warm smile.

Previously, Ram Gopal Varma expressed high regards for Adah Sharma during an interview with Galatta India, labeling her movie, The Kerala Story, as one of the best he’s seen in recent times. During this conversation, the director complimented the film’s director, producer, and lead actress Adah, acknowledging their efforts in creating such a captivating production.

During an interview with TopMob, the actress shared memories of her preparation for The Kerala Story character. She mentioned that the director would share unsettling videos which she found herself compelled to watch throughout the night. “This led to some peculiar dreams about bizarre events,” she said, adding that she was grateful to have a family home to return to, although it did affect her.

In terms of her career, she appeared in the 2024 Hindi political thriller movie titled “Bastar: The Naxal Story.
