Actor Arjan Singh Aujla, who portrayed Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen child, Sameer, in the film My Name Is Khan, recently reminisced about his first encounter with Shah Rukh prior to filming and described his time working alongside the superstar. Aujla shared, “He was incredibly nice. He was smoking, and he asked me if it bothered me.

During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Arjan recalled his initial encounter with SRK. This meeting took place at Mehboob Studios only a few days prior to filming, specifically for a photoshoot. Arjan stated that he distinctly remembers the atmosphere before Shah Rukh Khan arrived. The studio was buzzing with excitement, but as soon as SRK entered, everyone momentarily froze and stopped their activity.

In recounting a memorable experience, he described the time they filmed a basketball scene together. Despite spending 45 minutes preparing the shot, Shah Rukh Khan made an effort to ensure that Arjan felt at ease throughout the process.

Arjan mentioned that Shah Rukh would reach out to him for rehearsals, share funny moments, and inquire if he desired coffee. He emphasized that Shah Rukh always went the extra mile to ensure I felt at ease. Furthermore, SRK also lightened up his parents’ mood by sharing jokes with them during the production of My Name Is Khan. Arjan expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warmth and hospitality displayed by Shah Rukh during the filming process.

In 2022, on Shah Rukh’s birthday, Arjan shared a touching tribute on Instagram, reminiscing about the times when the famous actor made him feel more like a buddy and someone with whom he could have open conversations.
