As a lifestyle expert, I admire the unyielding determination and resilience that John Abraham embodies, not just on the silver screen but also off it. His story from Force 2 is a testament to his relentless spirit and dedication to his craft.
John Abraham, a prominent figure in Bollywood action cinema, is renowned for his captivating performances and thrilling action sequences. Yet, it’s less known about the hard work and sacrifices hidden behind each electrifying stunt he performs.
Previously, John disclosed an incident during the Budapest filming of Force 2 where he sustained such severe injuries that medical professionals recommended amputating his foot. But instead, following advice from a doctor in Mumbai, he journeyed to the city with a drain tube inserted in his knee. The actor reminisced about encountering Shraddha Kapoor on the flight who was saddened by his state of health.
At The Kapil Sharma Show during promotions for Force 2, John Abraham narrated a story about an incident on set. Alongside co-star Sonakshi Sinha, he spoke of a severe injury he sustained during filming of a significant action sequence. For six days, he would go to the hospital where doctors would clean out the clotted blood from his knees, and then return to work. Later, it was found that his foot required an amputation.
Overwhelmed, John turned to his Mumbai physician for guidance when advised to journey home with a knee-implanted drainage tube. Remarkably, during this trip, he encountered Shraddha Kapoor, a fellow traveler on the same flight.
Observing Shraddha’s small stature, the actor humorously questioned how she could possibly help him, suggesting that she might trip and fall instead. However, he later mentioned that he managed to get to Mumbai for his third surgery and is now back in action after spending two weeks at the hospital.
On August 15, 2024, John’s newest movie titled “Vedaa” hit the cinema screens. This film was directed by Nikkhil Advani, and it stars Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ashish Vidyarthi in significant roles, along with a few others.
