White House Readies To Host First Ever Crypto Summit

Right, so apparently, Trump’s decided crypto is the new golf, darling. He’s hosting this whole “summit” thing at the White House on March 7th. Honestly, who knew, right? 🤪

The big cheese himself, David Sacks (aka the White House AI and Crypto Czar – what even is that job?), will be running the show. Bo Hines, the Executive Director of the Working Group, will be the one making sure everything doesn’t descend into utter chaos. 🤡

The White House is all, “This is a HUGE step for crypto,” which is funny because Trump was calling it a scam like, five minutes ago. Remember that? 😂 It’s like, “Oh, you love Bitcoin now? Did someone tell you it’s good for your hair?”

“President Trump will host and deliver remarks at the first-ever White House Crypto Summit on Friday, March 7. Attendees will include prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry, as well as members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets. The summit will be chaired by the White House AI and Crypto Czar David Sacks and administered by the Working Group’s Executive Director, Bo Hines.”

Trump’s meant to give a speech, which is terrifying because, you know, he’s Trump. 😱 Investor confidence is already about as shaky as a chihuahua on roller skates, so let’s hope he doesn’t say anything that sends the whole market crashing.

“The administration is committed to providing a clear regulatory framework, enabling innovation, and protecting economic liberty.”

Yeah, good luck with that. 🤪 The White House is basically saying, “We’ll figure it out,” which is about as reassuring as a broken umbrella in a hurricane.

Trump’s Position On Crypto 

So, Trump was all, “Crypto is a scam!” before the election. 🙄 Now he’s like, “Actually, I love crypto!” He’s even got his own meme coin! Talk about a 180, darling. 🤪 The industry’s pumped (they donated millions to his campaign, after all), but everyone’s kinda waiting for him to, you know, actually do something.

Let’s just hope this summit doesn’t turn into a dumpster fire. 🔥 Fingers crossed, eh?
