2025 finds me excited as I’m about to witness Oikos gracing our screens again for their sixth Super Bowl commercial! This time, they’ve crafted an amusing tale featuring the colossal figure of Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and the witty British actress Juno Temple. The story unfolds in a whirlwind sprint through an airport, where they’re both powered by the robust nutrition and protein-packed goodness of a serving of Oikos!
Temple swiftly lifts Garrett onto her shoulders using a fireman’s carry due to her extraordinary vigor, then heads towards his revised exit, ensuring he reaches there despite his fractured foot and limited mobility. Impressed by her strength, he praises her, and she accepts the compliment with casual grace, all while asking for him to return her yogurt.
Of course, Temple boasts a significant TV series focused on sports, which could potentially be revisited in the near future. However, prior to this and subsequently, she has built an impressive career as a versatile actress, excelling in both dramatic and comedic roles, not just in one country but across both sides of the ocean.
Juno Temple has quite a resume behind her
Actress Juno Temple boasts an impressive filmography that spans various productions, such as “Notes on a Scandal,” “Atonement,” “The Other Boleyn Girl,” “Greenberg,” and “Year One.” In “Jack and Diane,” she portrayed the character Diane, while donning the role of Thistlewhit in Disney’s “Maleficent” and its sequel. After these appearances, Temple took on numerous supporting roles, one of which was Fanny in the 2015 adaptation of “Far from the Madding Crowd.
Junie Temple first made a significant impact on television with her role as Jamie Vine on HBO’s “Vinyl,” followed by appearances as Lucy in “Little Birds” and Betteye McCartt in “The Offer.” However, it was her portrayal of the spirited Keeley Jones, reminiscent of Elle Woods, in “Ted Lasso” that truly captured American hearts, earning her four Emmy nominations for best supporting actress. More recently, she starred as Dot Lyon in Season 5 of “Fargo” and reprised her role as Teddy Paine in “Venom: The Last Dance” on the big screen. There’s a possibility that fans might see a reunion of the “Ted Lasso” cast, considering Apple TV+ appears to be considering a fourth season.
One thing you may not realize about Juno Temple is that her yogurt ad is her first commercial appearance, despite not physically carrying Myles Garrett during filming. In an amusing conversation with Variety, she mentioned, “I didn’t sprint through the airport with him, unfortunately.” Reflecting on the experience, she said, “Shooting a commercial demands a different kind of focus compared to a movie or TV set because I’m not promoting a product – I’m sharing a story.” However, Temple successfully delivered an impressive performance in this seemingly minor role, garnering praise as a talented actress even within the realm of commercials.
