Paresh Rawal is a well-known Bollywood actor who has won the hearts of many moviegoers with the numerous films he has been involved in throughout the years. In an interview with The Lallantop, Paresh Rawal reminisced about filming a scene for Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ghatak. He shared that he was working alongside Rakesh Pandey at a fish market when, due to his slippery shoes, he accidentally tripped and fell on his knees. Immediately, his friends Tinnu Anand and Danny Denzongpa helped him and took him to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

During his recovery from an injury, Rawal found himself anxious about his career and providing for his family, especially since his wife was on the verge of giving birth to their second child. Fortunately, Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgan, came to visit him in the hospital and offered him some unusual yet helpful advice.

Ajay’s father recommended that the senior actor should drink his morning first urine, stating that it’s a practice followed by all fighters: “Drinking the first urine of the day in the morning is something all fighters do. It won’t cause any problems.

He had also advised him against consuming meat, alcohol, and tobacco the night before, and he followed this advice for the next 15 days. The actor from Welcome, as quoted, said something like, “If I have to drink urine, then I won’t swallow it quickly, but I will sip it slowly, just like beer. I will make sure to do it properly.” This is what Rawal told himself.

Following a span of fifteen days, when the doctors examined his X-ray, they were astounded by how swiftly his injury appeared to be healing. A distinct white line had become apparent. Instead of staying in hospital for 2 to 2.5 months as initially anticipated, Rawal was released within 1.5 months, all thanks to Veeru Devgan’s advice. “It felt like magic,” the star of Hera Pheri marveled aloud.
