Previously, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed a new addition to their family – a baby girl named Dua. The arrival of this little one sparked great enthusiasm among the media and fans alike, who eagerly awaited a glimpse of the newborn. However, the proud parents preferred to keep their daughter’s face hidden from public view initially. To accommodate this request, they arranged an exclusive gathering for photographers, allowing them to meet the baby in a private setting. In an interview, a well-known Bollywood photographer shared his perspective on why he chose not to take pictures of Dua at that time. Let’s delve into the reasons!
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, renowned Bollywood photographer Yogen Shah discussed his career and unveiled some intriguing insights about the industry. It was during this talk that he disclosed that the media does not publish or capture images of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s daughter Dua Padukone Singh.
Shah clarified that no photographs were taken of [her]. In a similar vein, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have asked photographers not to take pictures of their child until they feel comfortable with it, much like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt did in the past.
The famous pair shared that once they’re prepared, they will inform everyone, at which point it would be appropriate to download Dua’s photos and distribute them among their followers and supporters online. During the same conversation, the journalist discussed an event that was organized by the stars from Bajirao Mastani at their home’s club house, as part of the interview.
It seems that Dua’s parents went out of their way, inviting Bollywood photographers over for an enjoyable gathering. During this event, popular film personalities had a chance to mingle with everyone, engaging in conversations. They requested guests to keep their devices away and eventually presented the little girl to them. Ranveer Singh and Deepika even brought their slumbering daughter out, giving the paparazzi their first glimpse of Dua.
Last December, Yogen shared on Instagram about their meeting with Dua and her family. He stated, “Our entire encounter was nothing less than enchanting and will be forever etched in our memories,” further mentioning that they received a box of sweets and dined at Ranveer’s favorite restaurant.
