- Three new champions join the fray
- Reworks for several characters
- New Bandle Fantasy item as well as other content
In the coming weeks, the LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1 – Ascending Stars – will roll out, introducing a celestial makeover that revamps everything from user interfaces to the battlefield. This time around, you’ll journey through the Dual Nova galaxy, where the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star reside.
3 fresh combatants have been introduced to the fray in the most recent update of Wild Rift, each possessing powers capable of significantly altering gameplay. Ryze, the Runic Mage, is one such character, offering extensive Area-of-Effect damage and the ability to transport teammates across the map instantaneously through his Realm Warp skill.
Afterward, there’s Nocturne, the Everlasting Nightmare, who flourishes in disorder, employing Paranoia to immerse adversaries in utter darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Timekeeper, focuses on manipulating time, decelerating foes and even resuscitating allies with Chronoshift.
A few hero characters are being revamped as well. Garen’s Courage will grow stronger over time, making him more durable, while his Judgment skill will reduce enemy armor. Ambessa is moving from the jungle to the Baron lane with changes to her damage output and life steal. Adjustments of a smaller scale are also being made for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
In non-Ranked games, apart from champion adjustments, a new Rift themed around Bandle City is causing quite a stir. This includes magical gifts appearing mysteriously via portals during the early game stages, known as the laning phase. Additionally, mages are finally receiving some overdue changes to their items.
Here’s our ranking every champion yet!
The latest Bandle Fantasy accessory boosts additional explosive damage, while Hextech GLP800 slows adversaries using icy bombs, and Malignance amplifies ultimate skills, making spellcasters even more formidable. To add, the Ranked mode is also experiencing change. A new season commences along with the debut of the Challenger’s Star, introducing modifications to the Ranked shop and a simplified method for acquiring seasonal incentives.
Halfway through the update, the Adventure’s Star becomes accessible, showcasing AAAARAM – a unique twist on ARAM (All Random All Mid) with enhanced elements and cosmic aesthetics. To top it off, the Wild Pass will grant two breathtaking skins, Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Notably, Twisted Fate’s new look marks the introduction of a fresh skin line.
On April 16th, the latest update for League of Legends: Wild Rift, version 6.1, will be rolled out. For additional details, please check the official site.
