‘Will You Sign My Breasts?’ The Time A Harry Potter Star Had An Embarrassing NSFW Encounter With A Fan At Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World

Upon its initial debut, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando resort stood out distinctly from other theme park lands we’d encountered. The quality of its attractions was undeniably excellent, but it offered so much more than just a loose assortment of entertainments. Instead, it provided an immersive experience that transported dedicated fans into the very heart of the Harry Potter films. This devotion was evident during Jason Isaacs’ visit to the resort.

As a devoted cinephile, I’ve had the pleasure of portraying Lucius Malfoy in the enchanting Harry Potter movie series (now readily available with a Max subscription). Alongside other esteemed cast members, we were privileged to attend the grand opening of the Wizarding World land. In an interview with The Telegraph, I shared an unusual fan encounter that I’ve dubbed the “least pleasant fan interaction” I’ve ever had (apart from dealing with actual stalkers). This enthusiastic fan, while we were right in the heart of the park, audaciously asked me to autograph her chest. To put it mildly, I had to politely decline and share a tale that will forever be etched in my memory!

In a different part of the world, I visited the Harry Potter-themed park in Orlando [Harry Potter’s Wizarding World]. The entire cast had already left us. It was swelteringly hot, and we were busy signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Just as we were about to leave, a woman near me asked, ‘Could you sign my chest?’ and promptly unbuttoned her shirt. I responded, ‘Ma’am, please refrain. There are children everywhere.’ She retorted, ‘But I have eight kids,’ to which I replied, ‘What would they say?’ Her kids were standing nearby, urging, ‘Sign them, sign them!’

In some cases, celebrities might find such situations less awkward, but it’s evident that Jason Isaacs felt uneasy during the interaction. The setting, being a theme park filled with children, undoubtedly added to his discomfort. It seems unlikely that he would have been more comfortable if this encounter had taken place somewhere less family-focused.

The immense popularity of the Harry Potter cast, which seems unwavering even now, can be compared to that of rock stars. In fact, there’s a specific fan base who view the Harry Potter actors with the same reverence as they do rock stars, as evidenced by instances where women have requested and received autographs on their breasts, a practice more commonly associated with interactions with rock stars.

I firmly believe that theme parks should be enjoyed by everyone, including mature individuals. To clarify, I suggest that we all maintain a standard of decency by keeping our clothing on while in public areas of the park. It’s important to remember that exposing yourself for an autograph or otherwise isn’t appropriate, especially when children are present. The same rule applies to other adults as well.

A third magical realm based on the Wizarding World is set to launch at Universal Orlando Resort towards the end of this year. Known as “Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic,” it will be unveiled within the newly constructed Epic Universe theme park. I can’t help but wonder if any actors from the franchise will attend the grand opening, and I’m eager to see how fans will respond if they do.
