As a seasoned gamer of the fashion world, I must say that this Paris Men’s Fashion Week schedule has me more excited than my latest level-up in my favorite video game. The lineup is nothing short of a designer’s dream, with old favorites and fresh faces alike.
On a Monday morning, the Fashion Federation of Haute Couture and Mode made public the preliminary schedule for Paris Men’s Fashion Week, with events commencing on January 21st.
68 brands will showcase their Fall-Winter 2025 menswear collections during the first week, followed by haute couture presentations starting January 27 from 28 various fashion houses. Notable returning shows include Pharrell at Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones at Dior Homme, Junya Watanabe, and Comme des Garçons. Newcomers to the scene are Willy Chavarria who will make his Paris debut, and Jacquemus, who returns to their hometown.
The men’s schedule will open with a presentation from Japanese label Auralee on January 21 at 4:30 pm CEST and end on the 26th with Peter Copping’s debut as director at Lanvin. On the 22nd Paris debuts will be made by the 2022 winner of the LVMH Prize for Young Designers, S.S. Daley, and the 2024 winner of the Special Prize at the ANDAM Fashion Awards, 3.Paradis. The next day, Issey Miyake will replace its usual HOMME PLISSE show with a debut from its IM MEN line, followed by a show from Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto.
On January 29th at 5 PM and 7 PM (Central European Summer Time), Alessandro Michele will unveil his eagerly awaited joint debut for Valentino, while Ludovic de Saint Sernin is set to present his guest collection for Jean Paul Gaultier. Both events in the world of haute couture.
