Selma’s daily caller, concerned when she didn’t answer the phone, dispatched two relatives to investigate her whereabouts. Eric too was contacted but found his grandmother missing upon entering the house. Instead, he came across Rosa’s mother. In a swift turn of events, Rosa, who had been concealed in another room, sprang out and shocked Eric with a tazer. The ensuing melee involved Rosa being beaten up by both the mother and daughter. Neighbors alerted the authorities when they heard the commotion, leading to the revelation that Rosa and Mei were responsible for the chaos.
In their investigation, authorities tragically uncovered the lifeless body of Eric’s grandmother, Selma, concealed in a bucket within the garden hut. It was later determined that she had been strangled by Rosa and sustained multiple injuries. This discovery led to a search of Rosa and Mei’s residence, where they found alarming evidence. Among the items uncovered were crossbows, throwing stars, chains, and various other objects strongly suggesting their involvement in the lethal assault.
